The project consists of construction of a new 2 story 53,490 S.F. training facility with a new 9,130 S.F. Operational Maintenance Shop (OMS), a bay wash rack, new bi-level loading ramp and a 6,000 S.F. unheated storage building. The project sits on a 20 acre site and includes installation of new water mains, sewer, storm sewer, electrical systems and new concrete parking lots (approximately 10 acres of parking). The training center includes an arms vault, weapons simulator, classrooms, library, administrative offices, fitness center, and storage cages. The project is designed to meet LEED silver requirements and anti-terrorism force protection requirements. The project is valued at $14 million.

This project consists of a 5,000 S.F. addition to an existing structure. The new structure is a pre-engineered steel building with a brick veneer. It also includes renovation of the existing building and installation of new restroom facilties. The project is valued at $1.8 million.

This project requires the installation of a new fire detection system on all 3 floors of building P-40. Building P-40 will remain occupied during installation. The project also requires the removal of the existing fire detection system. The project is values at $900,000.

Great Lakes Naval Base Building 322 and 520 Renovations
Great Lakes, Illinois
The design/build project includes renovations of two buildings, existing parking lot revisions, and complete demolition of one building for NAVFAC at Great Lakes Naval Base. Phase A consists of design and renovation construction of Building 520 to include: demolition, carpentry, doors/hardware, finishes, miscellaneous specialties, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. Once renovations are complete, furniture, fixtures and equipment from B322 will be relocated to B520 to support new operational programmed spaces. Phase A also includes parking lot revisions to accommodate bus access and to provide four bus waiting lanes complete with electrical power stations and light bollards. Phase B consists of design and renovation construction of B322 to include: demolition, masonry, miscellaneous metals, carpentry, doors/hardware, finishes, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. Once renovations are complete furntiure, fixtures, equipment from B2C will be relocated to B322 to support new operational programmed spaces. Phase C consists of asbestos abatement and complete building demolition of the three-story (approximately 53,000 S.F.) B2C. Total contract period of performance is 382 calendar days.
